Spring in the Dogwood Tree
I looked out my upstairs bedroom window one spring morning to find what you see here. It took many hours to put this together because I worked with the aid of binoculars’ for the most part of the layout.
When first I saw this I discounted it as too involved but then I noticed a shoelace worked into the nest and that helped me get the courage to attempt to capture the intricacy of the nest. I noted that the whole of the nest was built with grass, no twigs just grass. This Robin had spent some hours working to tie all this together. Realizing this I felt good about the time it took to record her efforts.
