You can find the other view listed as “West Blocton” in my titles. This is the original location for the administration building at Tannehill State Park. Many that visit the park do not realize the buildings are all historically correct and moved to the park for viewing and study.

This old home shows the kitchen some three feet back of the house in case of fire they let the kitchen burn while wetting the back wall of the house thus saving it. Note the size of this particular kitchen, you could call this an early example of the eat in kitchen.

I looked but could not find the location of the Out House which I envisioned as a two holler for this size home.
