Traveling in North Mississippi I had planned to stop and eat a sack lunch as most places offering food were questionable. As I eat in the shade of a tree I kept looking at the bright yellow flower found on the sides of the road.

Not being rushed on this particular day I walked over for a closer look at the flowers displaying so much color. I was caught up in a moment of wonder as I saw the beauty before me. I had forgotten my drawing pad, and was in need of recording this seen. All I had was the sack my lunch was once in, so I made do by opening it and drawing what you see here.
